The training program for certified IFS consultants was designed to bring each student into a more aware and intimate relationship with his or her own immediate environment. Before making recommendations to others, it is imperative for all consultants to set their own house in order as well as to clarify personal goals in relation to this extensive body of knowledge. Each student closely examined professional aspirations, individual development and overall path in life. The deciding factor in successfully completing this extensive training program was a willingness to think, feel and experience feng shui from a multiplicity of perspectives.

Aware of the transforming power of feng shui and the importance of applying these principles correctly, the study of IFS sharpened each student's sensitivity to the patterns of energy in an environment and, where present, the underlying disharmony in some troubled spaces. Academic study revealed ideas about where to look in the public domain for solutions; how to look came only through practice and repeated challenges presented throughout the course.

Comprised of ten separate modules covering dozens of individual lessons and hundreds of pages of written assignments, the Intuitive Feng Shui ^® Professional Training Program lasted from three to seven years and resulted in awarding thirty-three students certificates of completion. Most have established successful professional practices and are active in feng shui education and consultancy throughout the world.
